Let me tell you all about the funky dance sensation that's sweeping the nation.

1. Become fascinated by some shiny, new thing.
2. Spend money and commit resources with no thorough or meaningful plan.
3. Fail to effectively communicate Vision to team and stakeholders.
4. Execute half-baked, poorly defined initiatives, and start doing stuff, as fast as possible.
5. Demotivate and micromanage the folks who are actually delivering value while supporting cronies who undermine the company.
6. Complain that it’s taking too long, and set unrealistic timelines.
7. Ask for more resources, as everything was under specked, due to poor initial planning.
8. Look for someone to blame.
9. Successfully reinvent history, and assign aforementioned blame.
10. See another shiny, new thing.
11. Go back to Step 1 and repeat.
